Girl Crush: Marina and the Diamonds

I really love singer Marina and the Diamonds' look at the moment. Her classic vintage style is so hot/cute/out there. Here are a few of my favourite of her looks.

This dress is ridiculously cute. The pale pink is pretty and girly - it goes with the sweet hairband. She still manages to make it look sophisticated and mature thanks to the thin straps, bare arms and minimal accessories. Let the dress do the talking.



I am aware there are men in the background wearing very little. But, focus on Marina and you'll see her wet-look leather skirt and cropped high neck top (similar to the ones in Topshop at the moment (which I love). The high-neck keeps the look classy.This is from her video 'How to be a Heartbreaker' (linked at the bottom) so is purposely edgy and provocative. The outfit is ideal for a petite girl and flatters Marina's figure. To make it more 'wearable' try high waisted jeans or a less glossy skirt.



I love this dress! It's really fun and playful. This look is almost doll-like and I like the Victorian-style silhouette.


A more casual look. I must admit I don't like the bottom half of this outfit (apart from the shoes) as I don't think it flatters her amazing legs. However, I love her coat which looks very classy and the colours go well with the bag and shoes. I like the unusual shape of her flesh-coloured heels.
